Did you notice you they fit the title image? I wonder if that's intentional
Jono on page 307
Eos is working with the time assassin! Or she wants to know Sam more...
shadowrunner2323 on page 307
lol, even ash wanted in!
Kid Cthulhu on page 307
I love how everyone jumps when Eos come calling. Lady's got magnetism!
Lokitsu on page 307
From the looks on Sam's and Ash's faces you could've titled this strip "Dead Man Walking".
Wally on page 307
Charlie got picked by the hawt lady... Wooo Hooo...This might cause Ash to re-think her 'tough guy / I'm ignoring you' act...
DMAN on page 307
I agree with Jono's second thought. Eos is trying to get a scoop about Sam from Charlie, and Charlie knows a lot more than she thinks he does. :^p

Those chosen by the gods often have to face envy... especially if they enjoy it too clearly. ;)
Zophah on page 307
I think she just wants Charlie alone to ask in if he is from the past.
CyberSkull on page 307
I would like to see the bloody body version.

wait, so they've switched names-usage now? Adult-he is now going by Sam, and child-he is now going by Charlie?

@panda:
Sometimes one simply makes excuses to oneself. Corollary (ok, this is like the inverse of that) :

[continuing thread re: fingerprints]
... to the extent that.. was it the FBI or the CIA? ... mistakenly Disappeared someone for months on end, interrogating/torturing, before realizing they had the wrong person (merely someone with very similar fingerprints to the actual person they wanted).

@Vriska: I think they're (mostly) too young for that. Not technically, dep. on development, but in practice, usually.

Well, at least they're even, I suppose. She thought he was a 'she,' initially, too (until he corrected her that he was a 'he'; but she never told him that she was a 'she,' not a 'he,' since it never came up).

Geez. What a real stand-up adult. ::dismayed frown:: (both the remark and the smack)

Give him a hug, silly!

"I... uh... let me think about that."
[later]
"So... Here's the really sad news: Everyone else -- all your other friends -- have grown up... they're 27, also. ::pause:: I'm sorry.

[gives time to process]
...
The good news... is that I'm willing to do, within reason, whatever you'd like or enjoy doing....
... I was thinking about a hike in the gorge, or going camping up by the lake. If you want, we can find others to come along. ::thinks to self: 'maybe a camping Meetup group for single parents...'::
....
and... we can also go to a rollercoaster park, if you'd like.

Ouch... Good display of the Inner [self-]Critic.
"It's their fault for assuming!"
More empathic response:
"Yes, it is; and, since I couldn't change others, and I was frustrated at receiving that, I decided to change my appearance -- the tradeoff was worth it, for me; I was tired of suffering."
Inner Critic can become even more integrated over time (e.g. with age), if we don't work to transform it / see what's underneath it.
It's trying to protect us; doesn't mean we can't reframe its words more objectively/nonviolently.
