How is this the same comic of two eleven year old's? I think back to the time when Ash suggested chocolate milk came from brown cows and think, how did we get from that to this.

I just remembered this is a sci-fi comic.

I told you all that we would miss the slice of life-stuff once the plot kicked into high gear...

I (don't think that I) haven't missed a comic, but I am so freaking confused. Going to go and re-read, but someone throw me a bone here, please!?

@jason So I am having trouble following this myself but here it is as I understand it:
Eos can't have kids. Now she's been shot while trying to protect Charlie from Time Guy and she can't walk. These things led to her creating a virtual reality, where she can walk, and raising an AI kid in it. AI kid hacked something in the real world, causing wars, and the Authorities have killed Eos for that. Now AI kid is mad and has nuked everybody. Presumably now he will invent time travel and grow a body for himself, becoming Time Guy in an attempt to go back and change things.
Alien Hunter

To James:
I thank you for Monday's recap. I re-read the strips starting with Charlie's death, and it all made a little more sense. Still not sure how Memnon got out of the VR into the real world...was he a real person who had an avatar in the VR? And how did Charlie's death connect to, much less cause, all this?
But Memnon has to be real...he tried to kill Charlie in the past...and who tried to save Charlie by sending him into the future? And what will happen now that Charlie is gone? Wasn't the whole strip about protecting him?
Deof Movestofca

If time travel is real, why didn't someone simply go into the past and stop Memnon from accessing the wrong 'net?

Good thing I stocked up on canned spam for the apocalypse.

@monsterzero - he is in the real world now already.
VR boy turned real with no explanation... Yet.
We still have less than half of the story.

@The Theorist: That also would make sense in a lot of ways, like the dark side of Red Dwarf.
