...I think it'd be damn near impossible to suddenly revel a child to your family that's been in hiding for 11+ years. (Unless they were estranged, or he says something like a former girl friend with weak genes pops up from nowhere and handed over custody. ...Or at a stretch had a 'spontaneous urge to adopt' :-P)
...Or screw all that and she's just ashamed that he sneakily named his son after himself. XD

This is the biggest way possible to upset a woman's wedding and take the focus off her on her big day. I remember when my wife and I were pregnant with our first child we kept it quiet for a few more days during her sister's wedding so her sister could enjoy the limelight in the family as she deserved. We told her in private though, it was funny, she was already bouncing off the walls and the knowledge she was also an aunt and the first to know doubled her glee that day.
