It was only later that I realised that big toes are usually the longest toe. I still think it looks all weird and pointy normally, so I keep drawing them like this.

Guesticus: I don't know what monster feet you've got, but my big toe is my longest.
Guys, either can be longest. It's a roughly even split in my family, it's not out of the ordinary.
"Morton's Toe" describes a condition where the second toe is longer than the big toe.

Indeed the second toe is frequently longer than the first. It's called a Celtic foot when you have that and people with that condition walk toed-out so the push off when walking comes from the big toe.
