Phlatus What's frame 3, right column? Even for an adult, that weapon isn't built for managing recoil. I wonder what it shoots?
Nachum I think that's a closeup of his fingers. And the gun looks like a dummy, for practice.
PyroKill Agreed on panel 3, I think that's his left hand closeup on the Mag, but I believe panel 4 is "experiencing extreme recoil" in the grow you back kinda level as panel 5 looks like recovery. That is a massive rifle from memory. I'm assuming not a dummy version based on position and targets.
PyroKill "Through you back" .. autocorrupt got me.
Phlatus Yup, probably is his knuckles. If it fires projectiles (bullets), held like that it would jump up and knock the shooter in the face. Assuming it's the same weapon we see in strips 371 - 374 and 382 - 383, it has a scope of some sort. They're notorious for smacking newbie shooters in the eye. But, it says "THOOM" instead of "BOOM," which kind of implies an energy weapon.
Walex So turns out that Rothwell is a hero, and a decent, nice hero too.

Phlatus Rothwell's good guy/bad guy status probably depends on which time whorl that particular iteration is riding, and it appears there's a bunch of 'em. I can see Rothwell shooting Rothwell at some point where two or more intersect.

Lokilog Okay, so this is now making me think deeply: If Rothwell went back in time to kill Charlie, but it was to save humanity (or the AIs) then he's doing it for a great cause, but I feel so bad for Charlie! The thing is, Rothwell doesn't immediately kill Charlie when he find him, so maybe he's going to find another way to change history? I dunno. Great comic for making me really think!

walex Actually Rothwell has killed Charlie already, in the original Charlie timeline, as in page 383. This this triggers EOS to build MEMNON and all wars indeed end, because MEMNON kills everybody else. Then when the mystery military man pulls out Charlie from the original timeline and into Sam's timeline, Rothwell tries again to kill Charlie, in page 417, and EMI saves him by cutting his hands with the sword. EMI sort of explains it in page 424. Uhhhh, I just noticed that in page 425 EMI says that she is "as human as you are" which is deeply ambiguous. After noticing that EMI saved Charlie, Rothwell decides that killing him is not the right thing, and tries to talk with him.
