Crustacean Safety first folks. Don't swim in unfamiliar coastal locations without suitable emergency precautions. (Insert horror story here) there are a lot of potential dangers to consider.
Lokilog If you think about it, this is actually a pretty good way to learn to swim (assuming nothing goes wrong).

Brodgers I'm surprised that they are not getting pulled even further out by the tides.
AlpineBob This must be in a fairly sheltered lagoon; there don't appear to be any waves. Tides will still happen, but may or may not be dangerous - that is geography dependent.

old troll My Dad taught me to swim by throwing me off the dock. I learned quickly although the sack did slow me down a bit.
