Ash never questioned why her mother still wore makeup if that were true.

Kid Cthulhu My feeble brain is having trouble processing Kate with her hair down and makeup. She just doesn't look "right" somehow.
Unmaker @Kid Cthulhu Because she looks like Charlie to start out with, so adding the makeup just turns her into 'drag' Charlie. IMO.
Wally Ash, Kate is a lot older than you; like twice as old, right? She may have developed a few other things besides makeup skills while growing up that helped Johnny like her. Ash, at your age (eleven), perhaps a little physical abuse on your part toward Charlie might attract his attention to you. You know like a punch in the arm or a shove on his back when he's off balance causing him to fall...maybe even a kick when he's down. You know, over power him. It's those little personal touches that tells a preteen boy that a preteen girl likes him. So save the makeup skills for a little later. Actually the bite on the lip from this morning could be a great start to a wonderful relationship. * (Sarcasm) *
0xf10e @Wally While's mostly preteen boys showing interests in this way Ash isn't too girly to begin with. And Ash will be the one in control anyway. If Charlie isn't comfortable being pushed around by her (in a literal meaning, too) it wouldn't work out anyway ;)
Yipes! Hmmm... Kate's lipstick color does not go with her skintone and there is *way* too much on her upper lip. Right now she looks like a fish in clown make up or a dude doing really bad drag. Blot, Girl, Blot!!!
MissTeddy @Wally...Harsh. Socks are always overrated. Even in formal attire.

Wally @MissTeddy: Hey it could be a beach wedding... socks would be a real pain once you get sand in them.
Miss Teddy @wally agreed. When I do sarcasm you'll know. I'm so Ok with no socks with any outfit. Sadly I have tender city feet and must live vicariously through awesome tough footed people.
DMAN Meh, I'm not a fan of make-up(I'm a man by the way). Everyone has their own subjective view of natural beauty, attraction, and various love stuffs.

PleaseNote @Wally maybe she's trying to be herself, not trying to attract boys. And that, btw, is AWESOME.
